Smilebox Butchart Gardens, BC

What's so amazing about Butchart Gardens is the amazing transformation of a scarred landscape turned in to an incredible thing of beauty.  Somewhere there's a picture (I couldn't find it, but I remember it from when I was there years ago) of Mrs. Butchart sitting on scaffolding on the side of a barren cliff planting little seedlings.  This is definitely a must see if you get there.  Well worth the price of a ticket!
