We have enjoyed our time in Issaquah with David and Quinn. Overall we had good weather for touring and graduation. Quinn has turned in to a handsome, charming and well mannered young man. Such a bright future ahead. I know David is going to miss having him at home with him, but it's exciting that he's off to college soon. Lee was here for graduation as well. We all hooked up for dinner after graduation and a walk around town. Saw parts of Seattle I hadn't seen before. We lucked out having early dinner at Anthony's on the water because right below was a marina filling up with old wooden boats for a boat show Sat. We were able to get down to the docks and walk around those gorgeous boats, some almost 100 years old and looking like they just came off the showroom floor. Again, another lesson learned, we realize you could easily spend a lot more time here exploring not just the city, but areas surrounding here. We didn't put a dent in what there is to see in this area, but saw more than we'd thought we would. Guess we'll settle for that this time around. Yesterday Lee and David came early to the campground we moved to and joined us for apps until it was time to pick Quinn up and bring him to join us for dinner. After dinner we did S'mores in the first campfire we've had so far on this trip. Most National Parks don't allow campfires and neither do many of the campgrounds we've been to. I guess that means that FINALLY we are "Campers"!
Father's Day was a gloomy rainy day so we decided to beat the Mon. AM traffic and hit the road today. David met us at the Issaquah Cafe (a MUST if you come here) for Father's Day breakfast and to see us off on our journey. We are headed to Mt. St. Helen's today.
