We're off and running!!! Oh my gosh we are so excited to be really on our way to one of our greatest adventures so far. We've talked to so many people who have "been there-done that" and all we hear is how AMAZING it all is. We can't wait to see for ourselves. Today we most likely wont get as far as we originally planned, but the beauty of this trip is...who cares! Last night we had dinner with Lani and Rich. They sent us off with our very own Mickey Mouse waffle iron and all the fixen's so be sure to watch the blog for a picture of us having a gourmet breakfast in some incredible location. Before we left our friend Sondra showed us all her albums of the Nationall Parks we are headed to. We took a copy of her and Harris' itinerary so we wouldn't miss anything. They had this adventure back in '97. Their pictures were awesome! Imagine, we'll soon be there and see it all for ourselves.

Thanks for the great posts and pictures that will be coming our way. I'd like to know how many pictures your taking with a running counter. Could probably set a record, and that's great for us that will be following your blog. I bet you could write another cook book too, if you gathered recipes that are characteristic of the distinct regions you'll be traveling through. Just an idea. Have a great time.
